Spring is here! Where I live, that means warmer and longer days. After I get my homework done, I like to grab my mitt and head to the park to play baseball with my friends. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be the Little League World Series Champions. And luckily, I don't have to
imagine because some of the players from
Warner Robins, Georgia, told me what it's like to be world series champs! And, it sounds great!
Some of my other hobbies are reading and listening to music. In April, we celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month and National Poetry Appreciation Month. Try to write a poem about something you like to do, maybe even about playing baseball! Here's my poem.
"There once was a dragon who played ball,
Spring, summer and into the fall.
He liked to pitch and was great at bat,
But only when wearing his lucky hat!"
