March is a busy month this year! Not only do we have Saint Patrick's Day in March, but this year we have Easter, too! Did you know that the date of Easter varies each year because it is based on the lunar calendar? That's right, the date of
Easter is determined by the moon!
You might have a spring break from school during March also. Remember to keep reading, even when you are on break! March is an important reading month. We celebrate Newspapers in
Education Week and Read Across America Day during March. You might want to learn more about music this month. March is Music in Our Schools Month. Talk to your teacher and see if any special activities are planned at your school.
