Dear Kids,

Ahhh, February! Love is in the air. That, and a whole lot of talk about the presidential elections coming up in November!

Did you know that in South Dakota, huge sculptures of four U.S. presidents are carved into the side of a mountain? It's the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, and the four presidents are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson,
Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. On Presidents' Day, February 18, we honor two of America's greatest, Presidents Washington and Lincoln.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in the White House? Read this month's "What's It Like to Be..." to find out!

Remember to visit the Kidsville News! Web site at
www.KidsvilleNews.com. By popular demand, this month we'll post the answer key to Truman's Tricky Picture on the web site, just in case you need a little help! To e-mail me, just click on "Talk with Truman."

Have a fabulous February, and Happy Valentine's Day!
Celebrate Independence Day!
