Dear Kids,
Pumpkin pie, sweet potatoes, turkey and stuffing mmmm. I can't wait till Thanksgiving! November is a great month.
Not only do we get to have great food at
Thanksgiving, but we also have a special day to be with our family and think about everything for which we should be thankful. No matter where we live or what our individual situations are, we can all be thankful that someone loves us, that we live in a free country and that we have teachers who want to help us learn.
I'm also thankful that I have the opportunity to share neat information with you each month. I was fortunate to talk to astronaut Danny Olivas this month for our "What's It Like to Be" interview. Talk about a great summer trip he went to space!
