Dear Kids, It's June already! Most schools are on summer break or will be soon. That means you'll probably be spending more time in the great outdoors! I love to play outside. There are all sorts of fun things to do. I like to go hiking in the woods and admire the wildlife. I even have a neat book that shows me pictures of all different types of birds. Camping is great fun, too. Have you ever made s'mores over a campfire? Yummy! June 23 is the Great American Backyard Campout. If you haven't been camping before, this would be a great day to try it out. Imagine: you and thousands of others in the United States will be looking up at the same stars! June is also when we say "Happy Father's Day!" to our dads. Be sure to do something fun with your dad on Father's Day, June 17. When you are outside this summer, be sure to wear sunscreen and a hat to help protect you from the sun. Bug spray is a good idea also! Read all the articles from Kidsville News! on my Web site at www.kidsvillenews.com. Have a great June!
