It's November, and the leaves are falling in my neck of the woods. That means that Thanksgiving is coming up soon!
I love to eat, so naturally Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Mmmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about pumpkin pie! I made a new friend recently who also loves to eat pumpkin pie. His name is Bill Justus, and he is an executive chef at Hershey Lodge. In this issue, he tells us all about what its like to be a chef!
A lot happens in November. Not only is there
Thanksgiving, but there is Election Day on November 7 and Veterans Day on November 11. Both of these holidays are very important to our country. Because of our veterans, we live in a free country where adults have the right to vote and elect the leaders of our country. This election day, go to the polls with your parents and see how the process works. And on November 11, say Thank you to a veteran.
