WHAT YOU NEED:
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon butter or margarine
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Bacon bits, if youd like
DIRECTIONS:
1. Crack the eggs into a small bowl. Add the milk to the eggs. Whisk until the eggs and milk are smooth.
2. With adult help: Put the butter in a small (8-inch) pan and heat it over medium heat. When the butter is melted and starts to bubble, add the egg mixture to the pan. Cook for 1 minute, then stir. Cook the eggs for 2 to 3 minutes more or until they are firm but still moist, stirring often. Stir in the cheese.
3. Sprinkle the eggs with the bacon bits, if youd like. Enjoy!
Makes 2 servings.
Helpful Hint: To make toasted bread shapes, toast a slice of sandwich bread. Cut a shape out of the center of the bread using a cookie cutter.
