Dear Kids,
Theres a chill in the air and the leaves are falling. Fall is definitely here, and that means its almost time for one of my favorite holidays Thanksgiving!
Before you eat your Thanksgiving turkey, try this fun activity. Ask your Mom if you can use an old sheet as a table cloth. As your family and friends arrive for Thanksgiving dinner, ask them each to write a something that they are thankful for onto the cloth, using colorful markers. Youll have a keepsake from this special holiday, and everyone will be reminded of what the day is all about.
In this issue of Kidsville News! we have some interesting articles about things that are happening in November. In addition to Thanksgiving, we also have Election Day and Veterans Day. Both of these holidays are very important to our country. The freedoms that our country enjoys, such as Election Day, are due to the many sacrifices made by the veterans of our country.
